This garden had been abandoned for several years and whilst the hard landscaping was largely in tact, the planting needed a complete overhaul.

Bringing in large trees to give a sense of maturity to the space and some lovely structured planting compositions made up of Ilex crenata balls, ferns, heucheras, astrantias and ornamental grasses brought this outdoor space completely back to life again.  

 

A few added garden structures and fun focal points to compensate for the minimal hard landscaping here really transformed the space and the client enjoyed the finishing touches this garden styling achieved.    

Working on a very tight budget, these pieces were sourced from a dutch salvage yard and the head planter was a recycled broken and unused water feature!
